The non-partisan League of Women Voters of the Canton Area invites you to attend a panel discussion on what Ohio's Legislature has called "divisive issues." Panelists will discuss the following:
(1) What is Honesty in Education, What It Means in the Classroom, What You Can Do
(2) How I Taught Honest History and Government and Why It Matters
(3) My Perspective on Learning About the Real History of America
(4) What Learning about the Real History of America Means to Me
Panelists will include two North Canton Hoover High School students, a retired high school teacher and Cynthia Peeples of the League of Women Voters of Ohio, founding director of a statewide coalition of more than 30 organizations that believes every child deserves an honest, high-quality education grounded in truth, facts, and diverse perspectives.
Parking and entry for the event are off 4th St. NW in Canton, in the Timken Commons, formerly Timken High School.
