Tai Chi for Arthritis

For those who were unable to attend spring Tai Chi class, Holly Bandy is returning with the same 16 week class for fall, which utilizes Tai Chi’s Sun-Style to improve relaxation, balance, and ease of use. 

Slow movements work to improve mental and physical balance. When practiced daily, this program has been shown to decrease arthritis pain, prevent falls, increase flexibility, and improve overall focus. This program can be done seated or standing and is suitable for all ages. Developed by Dr. Paul Lam at the Tai Chi for Health Institute.

This 16 week program is aimed at beginners as an introduction to Tai Chi. Attendees who attend the entire series will participate in an assessment. This program will be hosted by Holly Bandy using a grant through Ohio State Extension Services.
