Stargazing at Spring Hill combines the exploration of both nature and history, as Spring Hill educators help visitors learn how to identify constellations (integrating the mobile app Star Walk 2) and discuss how runaway slaves used the sky to navigate northward to freedom along the Underground Railroad. A telescope has been donated to Spring Hill and will be used to help view constellations.
This is a free community event. Bring a blanket or chair for stargazing!
In the event of dense cloud cover or rain, this event will be rescheduled. Please stay up-to-date on our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/springhillhh
