St. Valentino's Massacre dinner theater

The Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce presents “St. Valentino’s Massacre,” a dinner theater benefiting the Roxy Theatre, featuring professional acting troupe Floriano Productions for one night only.

The play tells the story of the world premiere of the new picture from Megalomania Studios, “Silent Floozy,” starring husband-and-wife team, Valentino Giuliani and Lacy LaRue. The evening is tainted by the murder of well-known gossip columnist and critic, Louella Novella, and her brother, Megalomania Studios head Louis B. Chase, has hired Detective Mickey Douhan, to provide security at Big Vinny Graziano’s speakeasy, the Ritz Ratz Club. Vinny’s daughter is Lacy LaRue, a former flapper and floozy who wants to break away from silent films and graduate to the talkies. Her husband, Valentino Giuliani, wants to move up as well, but his voice is a real problem. When Louie’s wife, Sylvia, starts up a flirtation with Val, the evening may turn into a real massacre, but only if we’re lucky!

The buffet dinner includes baked parmesan chicken breasts, pulled pork, redskin potatoes, green beans, tossed salad, and dessert, and there will be a cash bar. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the play begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person, and reservations are due by Monday, Jan. 30. The event will be held at the Minerva Community Building, 123 Brock Ave.
