Spring Hill Privy Dig

This event is in collaboration with University of Akron, Massillon Museum, and Stark Parks.

Attendees can assist with shovel testing following a LiDAR investigation, try out the LiDAR machine, sift dirt for artifacts, and venture into our milk house during its restoration. Activities will be available for younger children, including digging/sifting for polished stones and other treasures (which they can take home!)

Find something, get your picture taken, and receive official credit for the find in our accession records!

**Any artifacts discovered on Spring Hill's property will remain the property of Spring Hill Historic Home & Underground Railroad Site. The archaeologist who discovers it will have the opportunity to pose with the artifact, and have their name attached to the collection record**
