Splash in to Summer Fun

Wednesday, June 22 - 11:00 AM

You won't want to miss a single one of these activities! Whether it's water science, messy art, exploring ocean animals, or taking a nature walk at Fry Family Park, we'll have fun all summer.

Weekly Themes

June 22 | Messy Art: Get ready for splatter painting! Wear old clothes and create a new masterpiece.

June 29 | Whales: Learn about these giants of the ocean with fun facts and activities. How long is a blue whale? How does blubber keep whales warm in cold ocean water? How long can a whale hold its breath?

July 6 | LEGO Fun: Participate in challenges separately and as a group using the library's LEGO collection.

July 13 | Sharks: It's Shark Week at Stark Library, and we'll be finding out about everyone's favorite ocean predators with games and activities.

July 20 | Nature Walk at Fry Family Park: Meet at the Fry Family Park Visitor's Center and take a nature walk. Park staff will tell us all about the animal habitats we see.

July 27 | Octopuses: These smart and mysterious creatures will give us plenty to talk about. Plus, work together to create a giant paper-chain octopus to decorate the library!
