Shaun Booker & the Dammit Band Blues

Born in Youngstown, Booker developed a love for music at a young age and started singing in her grandfather's church. Her career in music began when she released Upstairs Downstairs in 1998. Since then, she has released multiple albums, including “Shaun Booker Live at Last @ the Alrosa Villa,” “Shaun Booker Live in Marietta at The Lafayette Hotel,” “Blue Plate Special,” and “Angry Blues,” each showcasing her unique style and evolution as an artist.

Booker has toured extensively throughout Europe and South America, performing at major venues and festivals. Her electrifying performances have earned her a dedicated fanbase and critical acclaim, with music transcending language and cultural barriers.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The Roxy Theatre is located at 114 N. Market St. and is handicap accessible.

Downtown restaurants will be open throughout the evening, and concessions will be available at the theater. The village’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area will be in effect, 5-10 p.m. Patrons may purchase beverages in official DORA cups from the Normandy Inn, Stoney Inn, Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant, and Sandy Springs Brewing Company and carry them throughout the designated area, including into the Roxy.
