Planetarium Show: The Cowboy Astronomer

Learn about the night sky from the unique perspective of a Cowboy Astronomer.  Students will learn about stars, their properties, their motion, and seasonal changes in the sky.  They’ll learn about constellations and some of the other objects in the night sky like the Pleiades star cluster, the Andromeda Galaxy, nebulae, and supernovas to name a few.  Along the way students will be regaled by star stories from different cultures and countries, including Native American, Germany, ancient Arabic, Polynesian, ancient Greece, and even British poetry.
