Writing as Kylie Logan, she explores Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood with the Jazz Ramsey mysteries. Jazz trains and handles cadaver dogs. As Lucy Ness, she writes the Haunted Mansion mysteries about a women’s club in fictional Portage Path, Ohio . . . and the ghost who haunts its hallowed halls.
Kylie Logan has recently published her 65th novel. Those include the Jazz Ramsey mysteries, the Haunted Mansion mysteries, and the soon-to-be-published Love is Murder mysteries. As Casey Daniels, she’s also written the Pepper Martin series about a cemetery worked who solves mysteries for the ghosts in her workplace. Kylie learned to love mysteries early thanks to her dad, a Cleveland Police detective, who enjoyed Sherlock Holmes stories and on his days off, took her along in search of stolen cars. These days, she lives in Brecksville along with her husband and two dogs. Eliot is the inspiration for Wally in the Jazz books, and Lucy is a girl of uncertain parentage who was raised in a prison. When she’s not writing, Kylie enjoys working her community garden plot, knitting, and thinking up new ways to murder characters.
