Knitting 101 - Part 2

Wednesday, December 15 - 6:30 PM

Held on Zoom

Continue learning the basics of knitting for the very beginner. We will show you how to bind off, learn about the purl stitch, and do some troubleshooting for those who need it.

This is a continuation of the skills we learned in Knitting 101 - Part 1. You can move on to larger projects or make squares to donate to our Close-Knit Community project.

You will need to have your own yarn and knitting needles. You can use any size, but check your yarn label to make sure the size of your needles is compatible with the size of your yarn. A good place to start is with a basic size 4 yarn (also called worsted weight or medium) like Red Heart Super Saver. With this you can use needles in size 5mm.

We hope you will consider joining one of our Knitting Clubs!  All skill levels are welcome.

By registering a minor, you are giving consent for your child to participate. Participants must register for the event ahead of time and will be sent a link to the Zoom event via email before the event.
