The Canton Audubon Society will be hosting two Earth Day walks on Monday, April 22, at Jackson Bog State Nature Preserve on Fulton Road, NW, Jackson Township.
There will be a 7:30 a.m. bird walk starting from the parking lot behind the white barn on Fulton Road, NW, Jackson Township. Participants should bring binoculars and a bird field guide if they have them.
There will be a 5:30 p.m. nature walk that evening starting from the same location. While we will be keeping an eye open for birds, it will be more of a general nature walk. Participants should again dress for the weather.
If it is raining hard for either walk, the walk will be cancelled.
Interested participants can call the leader, Alan Dolan, at 330-832-2491 with questions.
