Carrie Elvey, formerly with the Wilderness Center, will share tips on how to use native plants in your garden and landscape to make it friendly habitat for wild birds, including adding water and food sources. If you haven't yet jumped on the native landscape bandwagon, you'll go home with resources to help you get started.
A bird walk behind the Sippo Lake Exploration Gateway will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by the presentation at 7 p.m. The trail is flat and limestone, suitable for wheelchairs, as is the Gateway. Families with children welcome. Membership in the Audubon Society is not required. BYO binoculars, or borrow some from the club.
