Audubon Meeting Jan. 16: Veery Songs

The public is invited to the monthly meeting of the Canton Audubon Society on Wed., Jan 16 to learn about a migrant thrush, the Veery, whose range spreads across southern Canada and the northeastern U.S., including the higher elevations of the Appalachian Mountains. The program will be presented by Courtney Brennan, Ornithology Collections Manager of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. As collections manager, Brennan assists in the curation, care and maintenance of the museum's 32,000 avian study skins and 4,000 eggs and nests.
