Ancient Secrets of Nobles Pond Part I

In this two-part series, Paul J. Barans, excavation team member at the Nobles Pond Paleoindian site, will talk about this 11,000 year old archaeological site in Jackson Township and its artifacts.

Part I - Jun 14 | Paul will discuss the history of the Ice Age people, who are considered to be the first inhabitants of Ohio, and their settlement in the 25-acre Nobles Pond area of Jackson Township.  

Part II - Jun 28 | Learn about "refitting", the process of finding and fitting together pieces of artifacts as it applies to the Nobles Pond archaeological site in Jackson.
