Anyone can deliver a valentine on Valentines Day. How much more fun to really surprise your special someone when they will least expect it – two days early! The Malone University Chorale will again be delivering their very popular "Singing Valentines" throughout the Stark County area ( on Friday, February 12, 2010.
For a fee of $15, an ensemble of members from the Malone University Chorale, dressed in formal attire, will visit a recipient's home or office, present a flower, card, and then serenade the recipient with either a friendship or love song. The choirs are also offering the option of sending a "Singing Telegram" over the phone for a fee of $5 to anyone in the continental United States. Proceeds will benefit the Malone University Chorale.
Singing Valentines will be delivered within a 20-minute radius of Malone between the hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Questions? Call the University’s Department of Music at 330-471-8230. To order a "Singing Valentine" or "Singing Telegram," call the Valentine Hotline at (330) 471-8230 Mondays through Fridays between 1 – 7 p.m.. Orders will be taken now through February 10.
