Malone University will present information meetings for each of its five graduate programs on Tuesday, April 20, at 6 pm in the Fred F. Silk Auditorium of Mitchell Hall. Prospective students may visit with the program directors and graduate admissions personnel regarding pursuing a master’s degree in education (M.A), counselor education (M.A.), Christian ministries (M.A.), business administration (M.B.A.), and nursing (M.S.N.).
School of Business: M.B.A. two-year degree program is designed for educating adult professionals.
School of Nursing: The master of science in nursing (MSN) degree may be earned in 24 months. The lock-step program tracks are for clinical nurse specialist (CNS) and family nurse practitioner (FNP). Most courses use a one-day-a-week schedule, plus clinical hours to qualify for the certification exams.
School of Theology: Malone’s Christian ministries master’s program offers studies in church leadership, sports ministry, and specialized Christian ministries. Classes meet one evening each week throughout the two-year program.
School of Education: The graduate program in education provides advanced study in the disciplines of curriculum and instruction, reading, and intervention specialist. Counselor education prepares the professional for clinical counseling, school counseling, and classroom guidance. These programs meet the professional needs of Ohio educators and community counselors, and prepare them for leadership in their respective settings. Evening and Saturday classes are offered to meet the needs of the working professional.
